There is one musical instrument that I absolutely loath with every ounce of my body, the saxophone. I cannot stand the sound of a saxophone and consider it to be the most obnoxious of all musical instruments. If the saxophone was a person, it would be a loud and obnoxious New Jersey grandma who is mostly deaf so only shouts to speak. Do you have a greatly hated instrument?

ReplyDeleteI personally love the sax but I love all music and instruments. I'm kinda weird like that. :) However if it is played um shall we say with less than great skill I want to plug my ears and go into a fetal position and cry.

ReplyDeleteMandy, I LOVE the mandolin!! My husband has a small collection of guitars and when we were in Hawaii on our honeymoon, we bought an Ukelele. We agreed that when we finally get to Italy, we will get him a mandolin. He sometimes plays his Uke like a mandolin and I can't wait for him to get a real one!
ReplyDeleteJoshua, I actually don't mind the jaw harp but I'm terrified of them since I heard they hurt like a bugger if it hits you! Ok, a nose flute is annoying but at least it's humorous to watch! As to Kenny G...if he was that good, he'd have a better hair do to go with it ;)
Crazy, you are blessed with a tolerance that is rare. But do you have any styles of music that you don't like??
